How it works
How a ceramic coating protects your paint.
Car paint is a stack of thin layers. The top one, the clear coat, takes all the weather, UV and grime. A ceramic coating adds a hard, clear layer above it that takes that wear instead.
Bonds to the clear coat
The coating forms a covalent (chemical) bond with the clear coat, rather than sitting on top like a wax or sealant. It follows the microscopic peaks and valleys of the paint, leaving one continuous layer with no gaps.
Cures into a hard, clear shell
Feynlab coatings are high-solids, so they cure into a thick, hard film. Bird droppings, bug splatter and road grime land on the coating, not on your paint.
Repels water and dirt
The cured surface has a nanoscale texture that lowers surface tension. Water beads up and rolls off, taking dirt with it. That means fewer water spots and easier washing.
Resists UV and chemicals
The coating shields the clear coat from UV and harsh chemicals, slowing the fading, oxidation and gradual loss of gloss that unprotected paint suffers.

Multi-stage wash and decontamination
Removes road grime, contaminants (including iron fallout) and prepares the surface for coating.
Clay bar treatment
Removes embedded contaminants for a smooth, clean surface.
Paint preparation
Paint enhancement appropriate to the selected package (1-step polish or multi-stage correction).
Final panel wipe
Prepares the surface to ensure maximum bonding of the coating.

Paint surface preparation, including multi-step decontamination and a 1-step enhancement polish, followed by your chosen Feynlab coating.
Packages cover all exterior painted surfaces. Side glass, wheel faces and Feynlab Interior Ceramic Protection can be added to the Essential or Flagship package for $100 each, including GST. Total protection already includes every additional option.
At your home or work address, anywhere in Auckland. We come to you.
You will need to provide a garage large enough to accommodate your vehicle and allow us sufficient room to work around it. The service must be carried out under cover, protected from the weather and direct sunlight. After application, the coating requires 12–24 hours to cure before the vehicle can be exposed to outdoor conditions, including rain. Please ensure the vehicle can remain sheltered during this time.
For the preparation and installation on a small/medium size vehicle you will need to allow 1 full day for a Essential and Flagship package, and up to 2 days for larger vehicles and for the Total protection package.
All three packages use Feynlab Ultra with 5-6 years protection. Flagship adds multi-stage paint correction, and Total protection adds interior protection. [Add guidance by vehicle age and condition.]
